Meet the Team

David Wright

BDS LDS RCS (Eng)

Hi, I’m the very proud owner of Hebden Bridge Dental Care Ltd. I qualified from University College London in 1991 with a Bachelors degree in dental surgery, having initially gained my licence from The Royal College of Surgeons of England. I started working here in Hebden Bridge as an associate with Andrew Wilson and Richard Denny over 30 years ago and I’m still here! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing generations of my patients grow older with me and watch their children grow up too.

It was always my life’s ambition to be a dentist and I am just as enthusiastic about dentistry now, as when I first started. I feel very privileged and honoured to care for our community and at the same time fulfil my passion for dentistry.

I’m most proud of my exceptional team of dental professionals and what we have achieved over the years. Building an amazing team does not happen by accident and our strength lies in our friendship and respect for one another. Most of my dedicated team have been together for years and their professionalism and ability to help and support their colleagues creates a strong bond and trust. This, as well as possessing their unique skills and knowledge ensures we deliver excellent dental care every time and provide it in a friendly, caring and passionate way too.

I’m interested in non-surgical periodontal therapy and periodontal surgery and the use of evidence-based regenerative techniques in order to achieve optimal results such as the management of recession and gingival overgrowth including crown lengthening techniques to improve aesthetics.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my young family, travelling and doing triathlons.

Hi, I’m Nadeem, I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2013 and was one of the few dentists to graduate with Honours. I returned to Yorkshire to complete my vocational training before spending several years in various hospitals to gain extensive surgical experience. I continue to work as a Speciality Doctor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

In 2014, I attained the prestigious MFDS qualification from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. My commitment to the profession is shown by the numerous national and international courses I have attended throughout the UK, Europe and USA in order to further my knowledge and learn the latest dental and surgical techniques.

Today, I limit my practice to surgical dentistry and implants and I also have a keen interest in treating anxious patients using intravenous sedation techniques where necessary.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I like to combines my true professionalism with genuine warmth and care, ensuring even the most anxious patients are made to feel relaxed and reassured. I’m very approachable and highly empathetic but my main driving force is the pleasure I get from seeing the results of my treatments and how they transform and restore confidence in my patients’ lives.
